I’ve never experienced an event as the New York Comic Con. There was no age, race, gender or class difference within all the people who attended to event. It was a happy place where everyone went to have a great time. I only got the Friday pass so I attempted to cram in as much as possible in that one day. Next year I hope to attend the 3 or 4 days to get to see all the panels and take my time. I really hope anyone reading this will want to go next year, whether you like comics, video games, or new events. You get more then what you pay for but please go early, that’s when you get all the free swag. Below are some photos and more on our Flickr page. Show some love in the comment section.
My first trip to Comic Con will happen next Friday. The event will be running between the following days: Thursday, October 13 to Sunday, October 16 at the Javits Center. Currently all 3-day and 4-day passes are still on sale but for single days, Saturday is already sold out. I’m extremely excited for this event and if you’re in town and are looking for something to do, check out Comic Con. I’ll tweeting and taking images, so come back to look for my report on Comic Con.
Yankess are the in playoffs (of course) and what a better way to celebrate then a new t-shirt. In4mation is based from Hawaii with original shirts. I was hoping to purchase this a couple weeks back but stock ran out at the store I was checking out. I really love their NY t-shirt, that is actually ‘hi’ upside down. Amazing! You can shop for that shirt along with some other amazing designs. Check them out!
I got a chance to check out the sold out show for Two Door Cinema Club, thanks to my friend Tarynn. I hadn’t heard of them before and they really impressed me with their upbeat electro pop music. I really dug their performance and hope to check them out next time they’re in the states. Below is their performance of ‘Something Good Can Work’ from Terminal 5.
